Language Premium. Effective upon ratification of this Agreement by both parties, employees assigned to perform bilingual, interpretive and/or translation services for the City shall receive a two hundred dollar ($200.00) per month premium pay. The City shall ensure employees providing language access services are independently evaluated and approved. The City may review the assignment annually and may terminate the assignment at any time.

Language Premium. 23 1. The Company may establish language premium duty assignments as determined by 24 the Company.

Language Premium. An employee fluent in a language prevalent in the community served by MHCD or useful among MHCD consumers shall be entitled to a $1.00 per hour premium above the employee's regular hourly rate. Rate for Spanish and American Sign Language shall be $2.50 per hour. Employees fluent in more than one language shall not be eligible for more than one premium. Prior to receiving the premium, an employee shall be tested to ensure fluency sufficient to assist a consumer with clinical interactions. Any employee already receiving the language premium as of December 31, 2008 shall continue to receive the premium.

  • SIGN LANGUAGE PREMIUM Any qualified Unit employee who is requested by the hearing impaired assistance center to utilize sign language shall receive compensation equal to two and three-quarter percent (2.75%) of their salary or wages for each business day the skill is utilized. Such practices of additional compensation shall be in accordance with LAAC Section 4.84.1.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.

  • Weekend Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.
