Common use of Land and Water Conservation Fund Clause in Contracts

Land and Water Conservation Fund. The parties agree that the Premises are to be operated and maintained for public outdoor recreation purposes, in compliance with applicable provisions of the Land and Water Conservation Fund acts, regulations, and guidelines. The City shall place signs on the Premises that indicate that it was improved through the Land and Water Conservation Act and that the area is publicly owned and operated as a public outdoor recreation facility. User agrees to include the same language identifying the area as publicly owned and operated as a public outdoor recreation facility in all signage, literature, and advertising. Inclusion of this language on all signage, literature, and advertising is intended to eliminate the perception the area is private.
