Labor Provisions. As required by California Labor Code section 1771.4(a)(1) and (a)(2), the City provides notice to all contractors and subcontractors that the Project that is the subject of this IFB and the Construction Contract, is a public works project, the contractor is required to post all job site notices prescribed by law or regulation, and the contractor is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). FIELD ORDER CITY OF PALO ALTO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Project This Field Order, issued pursuant to Article 7 of the Contract General Conditions directs and authorizes Contractor to proceed with the Work described below.
