Common use of JOINT CLIENT Clause in Contracts

JOINT CLIENT. 聯名客戶 16.1 Where the Client consists of more than one person: 當客戶包括多於一位人士時： (A) the liability and obligations of each of them shall be joint and several and references to the Client shall be construed, as the context requires, to any one of them; 各人之法律責任和義務均是共同及各別的，述及客戶之處，依內文要求，必須理解為指稱他們任何一位或每一位而言； (B) the Broker is entitled to, but shall not be obliged to, act on instructions or requests from any of them; 經紀有權但無義務按照他們任何一位的指示或請求行事； (C) any notice, payment or delivery by the Broker to any one of the Client shall be a full and discharge of the Broker’s obligations to notify, pay or deliver under this Agreement; and
