The 'Job Sharing Employees' clause defines the terms and conditions under which two or more employees jointly perform the duties of a single full-time position. (1) Partial month’s pay (or prorated monthly or pay period pay) is applied when:
(a) A full time employee is hired on a date other than the first working day of the month or pay period (based on employee’s work schedule).
(b) A full time employee separates prior to the last work day in the month or pay period (based on the employee’s work schedule).
(c) A full time employee is placed on leave without pay or returns from leave without pay.
(d) An employee is appointed to a regular part-time position.

(I) Changes in salary rate -When an employee’s salary rate changes in the middle of a month, pay will be computed on the fractional amount of hours worked at each salary rate during the month. For example:
Job Sharing Employees. Notwithstanding the provisions of Subd. 1 of this section to the contrary, job sharing employees (i.e., two employees filling one position) shall be considered for advancement to the next one-half higher step within the pay range for their classification, if applicable, upon the completion of each six (6) months of actual paid service in such classification. All other provisions of the subdivision shall also apply to such employees.
