Issued for Construction (IFC) Documents. The A/E shall prepare 100% complete Construction Documents (“Issued for Construction” or “IFC Set”). The IFC Set shall represent the further progression of the approved Permit Set together with any value engineering strategies approved by the Department. The IFC Set shall be progressed to One Hundred Percent (100%) completion of those required in a traditional Design/Bid/Build delivery method. The Construction Documents shall be coordinated and shall contain at a minimum the level of detail typically required by standard industry best practices for Construction Documents. The A/E shall respond to and revise the Construction Documents as may be necessary in order to address any concerns raised by the code official.

Issued for Construction (IFC) Documents. Upon review and approval of the Permit Set, the ▇▇▇▇ Contractor will construct the modernization work. The A/E shall provide such additional design services as are requested by the Department, including, but not limited to, the preparation of more developed CDs (“Issued for Construction” or “IFC Set”). The A/E shall provide three (3) hard-copy sets and one electronic PDF copy of the IFC Set to DGS (100% Construction Documents). Additionally, the A/E and DGS shall agree on appropriate conference or industry publication to present/profile the project, awards to apply for the A/E to prepare submissions for DGS. Section 3.2.1 If it should become necessary to amend any of the approved construction drawings, the A/E shall prepare an amendment to the drawings and shall submit such amendment to the Department for its review and approval. In this submittal, the A/E shall highlight (or bubble) any aspect of the design that represents a material deviation from the Permit Set documents and shall address in a narrative format the impact, if any, such departure shall have on the Project’s aesthetics, functionality or performance.
