Common use of Involuntary Transfer/Reassignment Clause in Contracts

Involuntary Transfer/Reassignment. 11.4.1 Involuntary transfer or reassignments may be initiated by the Superintendent/ designee when such actions are in the best interest of the District. A vacancy need not exist for transfer or reassignment to be initiated by the District; and, at District option, such actions may take place prior to announcing vacancies. Reasons which may create a need for an involuntary transfer or reassignment are: 11.4.1.1 Accommodating special staffing needs 11.4.1.2 Initiation, expansion, reduction or termination of program
