INTRODUCTION/PURPOSE. We the Undersigned, duly appointed representative of the County of Fresno, hereinafter referred to as “County” and the Service Employee International Union, Local 521, hereinafter referred to as “Union”, having met and conferred in good faith, do hereby jointly prepare and execute the following written Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Representation Unit 4. It is the purpose of the MOU to promote and provide for harmonious relations, cooperation, and understanding between management and the employees covered herein and to provide an orderly and equitable means of resolving any misunderstandings or differences which may arise under this MOU.
