Intramural research and development in methods to detect and prevent fraud. In support of the Technical Guidelines Development Committee and subject matter sub-committees, NIST will provide computer fraud detection and prevention subject matter expertise. NIST will: -Develop a Compact Disc of hashes based on voting system software provided to NIST’s National Software Reference Library. -Initiate research in how best to use the NSRL to support integrity management of voting system software throughout testing, distribution and field use. A minimum funding level of $ 400,000 in FY 05 will be required to accomplish task 5.3
