Interruption or Termination of Vacation. A Unit Member shall be permitted to interrupt or terminate vacation leave in order to begin another type of paid leave provided by this Agreement without a return to active service, provided the Unit Member supplies the notice, supporting information, and approval as required under Article 15. In such cases the vacation period will not be extended and the Unit Member must submit a request to reschedule the unused vacation days in accordance with section 14.3.
