Common use of INTERRUPTIBLE DEMAND Clause in Contracts

INTERRUPTIBLE DEMAND. 4.01 The Customer may in any Month take an amount of Interruptible Demand and Energy in addition to the Amount of Power of Order which shall be billed at the Non-Firm Demand and Energy rates approved by the Board. Provided the Amount of Power on Order is equal to or greater than 20,000 kW, the amount of Interruptible Demand and Energy available shall be the greater of 10% of the Amount of Power on Order and 5,000 kW. If the Amount of Power on Order is less than 20,000 kW, the Amount of Interruptible Demand and Energy available shall be 25% of the Amount of Power on Order. If Hydro is willing and able to serve the Customer’s Interruptible Demand, then the following shall apply:
