Common use of Interpretation of Rules Clause in Contracts

Interpretation of Rules. In case of uncertainty or misunderstanding as to the application of any rule or order of the Authority and the action of the employee, a member of the Union, thereunder, the matter shall be presented for interpretation and explana- tion, first to the Division Managers and the employee shall be governed by this decision. In case of disagreement with the decision of the Division Managers the matter shall then be taken up in the same way as are grievances.
