Instructional Load. 1. The Board and the Association agree with the philosophy that the smaller the class size the more individualized teaching becomes. Therefore, the Board shall strive toward a ratio of one (1) teacher to twenty-five (25) students throughout the school system. 2. The Board shall make every effort to ensure an equitable distribution of work among employees. 3. The Board shall make every effort to ensure an equitable distribution of special needs students among classrooms. 4. Employees must be consulted at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to parent conferences. The employee may agree to waive this notice in individual cases.
