Inspection for Material Completion Clause Samples

The 'Inspection for Material Completion' clause establishes the process by which a project or work is formally reviewed to determine if it has reached a stage of substantial or material completion. Typically, this involves a designated party, such as an owner or architect, conducting a thorough inspection of the work to verify that all major components are finished and that only minor items, if any, remain outstanding. This clause ensures that there is a clear and objective method for confirming when the work is sufficiently complete for its intended use, thereby triggering related contractual obligations such as final payments or the start of warranty periods.
