Initial Bonus. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Employee shall be eligible to receive a bonus relating to the fiscal year of Valence Technology Inc., a British Virgin Islands company, ending March 31, 1998 based upon the performance formula submitted to and accepted by the Compensation Committee.
