Common use of Induction and Orientation Clause in Contracts

Induction and Orientation. 19.1. All Employees, following the commencement of their employment, shall undergo an induction and orientation program during which they will be familiarised with the Employer, their work site and requirements of their positions. 19.2. As part of the induction program outlined in Sub-clause 19.1 above, a scheduled Enterprise Agreement information session will be held. 19.3. RailCorp will notify Unions who are parties to this Agreement about the dates of proposed inductions. 19.4. Union delegates and/or Union representatives may attend the induction and shall be given reasonable time to address new Employees as part of the scheduled Enterprise Agreement information session about the benefits of collective bargaining and Union membership.
