Common use of Indefinite Leaves Without Pay Clause in Contracts

Indefinite Leaves Without Pay. All employees, may be granted an indefinite leave of absence without pay. Employees on indefinite leave of absence shall be required to apply for extensions annually, giving proof the original conditions under which the leave was granted still prevail. A Permanent employee granted an indefinite leave of absence without pay shall, upon written request at the conclusion of the leave, have his name placed on the appropriate re-employment list.
