Inconsistent Duties Compensation. Classified bargaining unit members shall not be 24 required to perform duties which are not fixed and prescribed for position by the Board unless the 25 duties reasonably relate to those fixed for the position by the Board, for any period of five (5) days or 26 more within a fifteen (15) calendar day period except as authorized herein. 27 22.13.1 A bargaining unit member may be required to perform duties inconsistent with 28 those assigned to the position by the District for a period of five (5) working days or more provided 29 that his/her salary is adjusted upward for the entire period she/he is required to work out of 30 classification and in such amounts as will reasonably reflect the duties required to be performed 31 outside his/her normal assigned duties. 32 22.13.2 If assigned to duties normally performed by bargaining unit members in a 33 higher classification, the bargaining unit member shall receive the regular rate of pay for that higher 34 classification at the step on which she/he is assigned in his/her regular classification.
