Common use of IN PAY Clause in Contracts

IN PAY. An employee, who is called in outside their regularly scheduled hours of work other than for scheduled overtime work will be paid a minimum of four hours at straight time rates or at their applicable overtime rate for the time worked on the call-in, whichever is greater.

An employee who is called in to replace an employee for a full eight (8) hour shift shall be paid for the eight (8) hours provided she reports for work within one-half (0.5) hour of the normal starting time.
