Common use of In Lieu of Regular Assignment Clause in Contracts

In Lieu of Regular Assignment. Any Assistant who, at the Employer's request, temporarily assumes the duties of another bargaining unit member instead of his/her normal duties for a minimum of one (1) hour will be paid the regular rate for those duties. An Assistant's pay rate shall not be reduced as the result of any Employer initiated temporary change in duties.
