Common use of Improvements in Technology Clause in Contracts

Improvements in Technology. (a) Prior to using any new software or equipment to provide the Services, Contractor will have verified, to the extent possible in a test environment, that the item has been properly installed, is operating in accordance with its specifications and is performing its intended functions in a reliable manner. Contractor will move programs from development and test environments to production environments in a controlled and documented manner, reasonably calculated to avoid introduction of unauthorized changes into the relevant production environment.
