Common use of Hours of Service method Clause in Contracts

Hours of Service method. A Year of Service will be credited upon completion of __________ Hours of Service. A Year of Service for vesting purposes will not be less than one (1) Hour of Service nor greater than 1,000 hours by operation of law. [If left blank, the Plan will use 1,000 hours.] The computation period for purposes of determining Years of Service and Breaks in Service for purposes of computing a Participant’s nonforfeitable right to his or her account balance derived from Employer contributions:
