Common use of Hot Work Clause in Contracts

Hot Work. An employee who works in a place where the temperature has been raised by artificial means to between 46 degrees and 54 degrees Celsius - 47 cents per hour or part thereof, exceeding 54 degrees Celsius - 58 cents per hour or part thereof. Where such work continues for more than two hours, the employee shall be entitled to 20 minutes rest after every two hours work without loss of pay, not including the special rate provided by this paragraph.
