Common use of Holidays Clause in Contracts

Holidays. The following holidays are observed by the City: New Year’s Day (observed) MLK Day Memorial Day 4th of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Day After Thanksgiving Christmas Eve (observed) Christmas Day (observed) New Year’s Day (observed) If a Legal Holiday falls on Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday. If a Legal Holiday falls on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Normal hours of operation shall be between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding City of Xxxxxx Holidays. Any scheduled deliveries or work performance not within the normal hours of operation must be approved by the City Manager of Denton, Texas or his authorized designee.
