HOLDS FOR AUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS. 3.1. We may place a hold on your Account for a Card transaction. When you use your Card for certain transactions, the merchant accepting your Card may request advance authorization of that transaction. If we authorize a transaction, we may place a temporary “hold” on your Account for the amount of the authorized transaction, which we refer to as a “POS hold.” A POS hold is not payment for an authorized transaction. We will make payment for a transaction only after the actual transaction is presented to us physically or electronically.
