Hiring of Illegal Aliens. The hiring of illegal aliens is prohibited under Federal Labor Laws. As a condition of Contractor’s prequalification under RFPQ, Contractor certifies that it, and each of its sub-contractors for any subcontract awarded, complies with the requirements of Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the NC General Statutes, including the requirement for each employer with more than 25 employees in North Carolina to verify the work authorization of its employees through the federal E-Verify system.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to serve as a waiver of sovereign immunity, or of any other immunity, defense, or privilege enjoyed by the City pursuant to Section 768.28 Florida Statutes.

  • Governing Law; Jurisdiction; Venue; Waiver of Jury Trial (a) This Agreement shall be governed in all respects, including validity, interpretation and effect, by the laws of the state of Delaware applicable to contracts executed and to be performed wholly within such state without giving effect to the choice of law principles of such state that would cause the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction.
