Higher Paying Position. An Employee assigned, promoted or reclassified in accordance with the Collective Agreement to a higher paying position carrying a salary range shall be placed in an experience grade in the new classification which is next higher than the Employee's previous rate. The date of promotion to the new classification shall become the anniversary date for application of the salary progression.
