Common use of HHS Right to Inspection Clause in Contracts

HHS Right to Inspection. At any time upon reasonable notice to Contractor, or if HHS determines that Contractor has violated this DUA, HHS, directly or through its agent, will have the right to inspect the facilities, systems, books and records of Contractor to monitor compliance with this DUA. For purposes of this subsection, HHS’s agent(s) include, without limitation, the HHS Office of the Inspector General, the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, the State Auditor’s Office, outside consultants, legal counsel or other designee.
