Common use of HHS Inspection Clause in Contracts

HHS Inspection. Upon written request, VENDOR agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, VENDOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, Community in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining Community’s compliance with the Privacy and Security Requirements.

HHS Inspection. Upon written request, VENDOR CONTRACTOR agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, VENDORCONTRACTOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, Community THE HEALTH DISTRICT in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining CommunityTHE HEALTH DISTRICT’s compliance with the Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, VENDOR AGENT agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, VENDORAGENT’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, Community CHC in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining CommunityCHC’s compliance with the Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, VENDOR agrees to make available to HHS the Secretary of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) or its his designee, VENDOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, Community DEPARTMENT in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining Community’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.
