Guard Duties. Typical duties of the security guards at County facilities include, but are not limited to, the following:  Monitoring admittance of personnel and authorized visitors to County facilities.  Making rounds of inspection to determine that fences, gates, doors and windows are properly closed and/or locked or otherwise properly secured.  ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ a post (standing, desk, vehicle, etc.) at County facilities to watch for and report unusual activity or evidence of unusual activity  Turning lights ON and OFF  Turning alarm systems ON and OFF  Investigating unusual or suspicious conditions  Preventing trespass on, damage to, or theft of County property.  Inspecting parking areas  Enforcing security regulations  Interacting in a professional manner with the public  Assist Clients with directions  Be a visible presence in the reception area.  Operating telephones and transmitter/receiver radios, cameras, and automated security system equipment.  Responding to emergencies and/or alarms  Escorting County personnel to or from their automobiles at darkness – early morning, evening or night  Screening and documenting County property leaving or entering County premises as directed by facility site supervisor  Notifying appropriate County personnel and local authorities when emergencies occur  Reporting any dishonest or criminal act committed on County premises by County personnel or other persons  Enforcing "No Smoking" ordinance  Traffic-control duties may be included at some assignments  Respond to requests by facility site supervisor.  Maintain a visitors log & distribute visitor passes  Report any unsafe or dangerous conditions or circumstance to the Facility ManagerOther Security duties, as required

Guard Duties. Duties will vary based on the requirements of each post. Specific post orders will be issued, and Guards must comply with all specified duties. In general, duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: 4.1 Monitor the site for security, safety and building maintenance; take appropriate action in accordance with post orders. 4.2 Provide information and assistance to visitors and employees, as necessary. 4.3 Permit only authorized persons to enter restricted areas, in accordance with the post duties provided at each City facility. 4.4 Report potentially hazardous conditions immediately and items in need of repair (e.g. inoperative locks, slippery floor surfaces). 4.5 Conduct and/or assist with investigations on incidents/complaints, as directed by the City Representative or designee. 4.6 Summon medical assistance, as necessary. 4.7 Badge card readers while on patrol to ensure the devices are working and to provide an electronic badge history to confirm a patrol was performed. 4.8 Respond with both firmness and politeness in a situation involving an aggressive or belligerent behavior by an occupant/visitor. If such action does not result in neutralization of the situation; the Guard is to calmly refer the occupant/visitor to a supervisor for assistance. In the event of a menacing or threating situation, the Guard is to call 911. 4.9 Conduct after-hours security inspections, in accordance with post duties provided at each City facility. 4.10 Submit a daily log to Contractor at the end of each business day, containing information on all incidents, as well as the disposition of any keys, locking systems or anything else required for use at their post. 4.11 Screen employees or special event attendees using security wands and/or bag and purse inspections. 4.12 Be familiar with all access control devices, emergency routes and equipment, elevator locations, stairwells and fire exits prior to post assignment. 4.13 Provide security during special events and emergency situations. 4.14 Perform additional duties, as requested, which may include special orders or additional tours of duty.

  • Personal Duties The Employer and the Union agree that an employee will not be required to perform work not related to the business of the Employer. To this end, it is agreed that an employee will not be required to perform duties of a personal nature for supervisory personnel.

  • Services and Duties As Administrator, and subject to the supervision and control of the Trustees of each Trust, EIS will hereafter provide facilities, equipment and personnel to carry out the following administrative services for operation of the business and affairs of each Trust and each of its series: (a) Prepare, file and maintain each Trust’s governing documents, including the Declaration of Trust (which has previously been prepared and filed), the By laws, minutes of meetings of Trustees and shareholders, and proxy statements for meetings of shareholders; (b) Prepare and file with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the appropriate state securities authorities the registration statements for each Trust and each Trust’s shares and all amendments thereto, reports to regulatory authorities and shareholders, prospectuses, proxy statements, and such other documents as may be necessary or convenient to enable the Trust to make a continuous offering of its shares; (c) Prepare, negotiate and administer contracts on behalf of each Trust with, among others, each Trust’s distributor, and custodian and transfer agent; (d) Supervise each Trust’s fund accounting agent in the maintenance of each Trust's general ledger and in the preparation of each Trust's financial statements, including oversight of expense accruals and payments and the determination of the net asset value of each Trust's assets and of each Trust’s shares, and of the declaration and payment of dividends and other distributions to shareholders; (e) Calculate performance data of each Trust for dissemination to information services covering the investment company industry; (f) Prepare and file each Trust's tax returns; (g) Examine and review the operations of each Trust's custodian and transfer agent; (h) Coordinate the layout and printing of publicly disseminated prospectuses and reports; (i) Prepare various shareholder reports; (j) Assist with the design, development and operation of new series of each Trust; (k) Coordinate shareholder meetings; (l) Provide general compliance services; and (m) Advise each Trust and its Trustees on matters concerning the Trust and its affairs. The foregoing, along with any additional services that EIS shall agree in writing to perform for each Trust hereunder, shall hereafter be referred to as "Administrative Services." Administrative Services shall not include any duties, functions, or services to be performed for each Trust by such Trust’s investment adviser, distributor, custodian or transfer agent pursuant to their agreements with such Trust.

  • General Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsibilities under the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction: In addition to the responsibilities herein set forth, Consulting Engineer/Architect agrees to be responsible for those matters identified in the General Conditions as being responsibilities of the Consulting Engineer/Architect. Consulting Engineer/Architect specifically acknowledges receipt of a copy of the General Conditions and acceptance of the responsibilities as set forth therein.

  • Job Duties It is understood by the parties that every incidental duty connected with operations enumerated in job descriptions is not always specifically described and employees may be required to perform other job-related duties not specifically contained in the job description; however, employees required to perform such duties shall be qualified for the work to be performed.

  • Extra Duties The Trustee shall be entitled to refuse to approve any Substituted Obligor if, pursuant to the law of the jurisdiction of incorporation of the Substituted Obligor, the assumption by the Substituted Obligor of its obligations hereunder imposes responsibilities on the Trustee over and above those which have been assumed under this Trust Deed.
