Common use of Governmental Ethics Ordinance Clause in Contracts

Governmental Ethics Ordinance. 2-156 Contractor must comply with MCC Ch. 2-156, Governmental Ethics, including but not limited to MCC Sect. 0-000-000 pursuant to which no payment, gratuity or offer of employment will be made in connection with any City contract, by or on behalf of a subcontractor to the prime Contractor or higher tier subcontractor or any person associated therewith, as an inducement for the award of a subcontract or order. Any contract negotiated, entered into, or performed in violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter will be voidable as to the City.
