Governance Limits. It is the policy of the Salt Lake City School District that only major policy statements and economic agreements be brought to the board. Other agreements shall be administrative items, to be administered by the superintendent. It is also the policy of the district that the superintendent administers the schools in cooperation with the employees and the patrons of the district. The board supports the concept of shared governance.
