Geologist. The Contractor shall designate a project geologist for each Task Order (as appropriate to the Task Order). The Geologist shall ensure activities, to include plan development, field activities, report writing, designs, etc. are of the quality to meet project objectives. The geologist shall have experience in surface and subsurface soil, ground-water, surface water, sediment, etc. sampling techniques, as well as aspects of obtaining all types of samples through various drilling and sampling techniques, along with appropriate documentation procedures. The geologist shall have a minimum 4-year college degree in geology or geological engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of experience working HTRW projects.

  • Auditor 28.2.1 The Department (in accordance with Post-16 audit code of practice - XXX.XX (xxx.xxx.xx)), the European Commission, the European Court of Auditors and/or a Crown Body may at any time conduct audits for the following purposes:-

  • Independent Analyses of each Holder Each Holder acknowledges that, except for the representations made in Section 7, it has, independently and without reliance upon any other Holders and based on such documents and information as such Holder has deemed appropriate, made its own credit analysis and decision to purchase its respective Note.   • Accountant A person engaged in the practice of accounting who (except when this Agreement provides that an Accountant must be Independent) may be employed by or affiliated with the Depositor or an Affiliate of the Depositor.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Forest Service engineering shall be completed according to the schedule in A8. Should Forest Service be unable to perform the designated survey and design by the completion date or other agreed to time, upon written agreement, Purchaser shall assume responsibility for such work. In such event, Contracting Officer shall revise:

  • Surveys Each Borrower shall submit the Ship owned by it regularly to all periodical or other surveys which may be required for classification purposes and, if so required by the Security Trustee provide the Security Trustee, with copies of all survey reports.

  • The Contractor A general contractor shall be retained by Tenant to construct the Improvements. Such general contractor (“Contractor”) shall be selected by Tenant from a list of general contractors supplied by Landlord, and Tenant shall deliver to Landlord notice of its selection of the Contractor upon such selection.

  • Environmental Audit Upon reasonable notice, Director shall have the right but not the obligation to conduct or cause to be conducted by a firm acceptable to Director, an environmental audit or any other appropriate investigation of the Premises for possible environmental contamination. Such investigation may include environmental sampling and equipment and facility testing, including the testing of secondary contamination. No such testing or investigation shall limit Tenant’s obligations hereunder or constitute a release of Tenant’s obligations therefor. Tenant shall pay all costs associated with said investigation in the event such investigation shall disclose any Hazardous Materials contamination as to which Tenant is liable hereunder.

  • Contractor If COUNTY elects to renegotiate this Agreement due to reduced or terminated 20 funding, CONTRACTOR shall not be obligated to accept the renegotiated terms.

  • Engineering Services Definition: Engineering Services includes any service or creative work, the adequate performance of which requires education, training and experience in the application of special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, engineering principles. Engineering Services covered by the Xxxxxx Architect-Engineers Act (40 U.S.C. 1102) are not covered in the primary scope of OASIS SB.
