General Summary. The Environmental Inspector (EI) shall monitor and advise the Owner and the Construction Contractor(s) on construction of specific pro jects to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, approved plans, permit conditi ons, and environmental best management practices, including, as appropriate: erosion and sedimentation control, construction mat placement, stormw ater management, wetlands protection, rare plant species protection, stream buffer protection, and fugitive dust monitoring. The EI shall ensure adequate environmental controls on the Project(s).
