General Summary. The Contractor shall be required to maintain all equipment in the Facility including, but not limited to the ventilating system, fire suppression, fire extinguishers, guard radio system, Traffic and Revenue Equipment, intercom system, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), computers, guard tour verification hand held sensors and guard tour verification hand held stations, heat rise indicators, passenger elevators, roll down gates and all mechanical machinery, including replacement valve seats, valve bodies, door operating mechanism, car door hanger rollers, door saddle, pumps, and other required hydraulic elevator equipment, including cables, pulleys, tracks and other equipment for the cable elevator, ticket issuing machines, cash registers, fee indicators, toll equipment, and traffic counting apparatus. The Contractor shall maintain the 3M/Federal APD Auto Read-Fully Automated Traffic and Revenue System with Bar Code currently installed in the Facility. Contractor shall continue to maintain existing equipment and systems even if they are scheduled to be replaced. Failure to provide maintenance to any equipment or systems will result in the assessment of liquidated damages of $100.00/per day. All existing equipment and systems should be verified by each Bidder. At the commencement of this Contract, the Contractor shall re-key all appropriate locks in the Facility and provide NYCDOT with 2 sets of copies adequately identified for each lock that has been changed. Furthermore, the Contractor shall be required to maintain, at its own expense, all other equipment in the Facility, excluding equipment or systems designated for rehabilitation until such systems and equipment’s have been rehabilitated. Such maintenance shall include periodic testing, cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance. Contractor shall maintain a record in the Facility of all such work. In addition, a written inventory of all furniture and all portable equipment owned by NYCDOT shall be taken on the effective date of this Contract, and signed by both parties. A similar inventory shall be taken at the expiration or termination of the Contract and signed by both parties. The Executive Director reports directly to the Supreme Court of Washington on all regulatory matters. The Executive Director oversees the operations of an over 22 million dollar budget organization and directs the activities of a staff of approximately 140. The Executive Director has the authority to employ and compensate staff, within the limits of the budget, as may be necessary to carry out the functions and purposes of the Bar and is responsible to carry out the policies and directions of the Board and the Supreme Court of Washington. In particular, it has co-organized with the ANGELs project an International Workshop on Bio-Inspired Robots from April 6 to 8, 2011 in Nantes, see xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx/z-dre/bionic-robots-workshop/ Furthermore, LAMPETRA partners have published over 15 papers in journals and conference proceedings, and guess edited two special issues (one in Autonomous Robots and one in Bioinspiration & Biomimetics). The results of LAMPETRA have been featured extensively in national and international media, with both TV (BBC, France 3, Swiss German TV, Swiss Italian TV) and newspaper (The Economist, Sole 24 Ore, Le Figaro, Ouest-France, L’Expess, Sud-Ouest) coverage. Also noteworthy is that two PhD students participating to LAMPETRA, Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx have received prizes corresponding to the top 5% abstract and poster contributions for their participation to the Computational Neuroscience Meeting (CNS2011). The LAMPETRA project website (xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx) has been improved and constantly updated with photos and videos. Events in which the consortium was involved for showing the scientific results of the project or have demos with the robot (e.g FET11) have been widely advertised. Compared with the first two years of the project in which visits at the website pages were around 8000 accesses have more than doubled: actually they are roughly 17650. This result is an objective fact of how the consortium has done a good job in dissemination activities and of how the project and its results have been effectively advertised at the general public. General Summary. Reporting to the Chief of Party (CoP), the Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor will oversee all monitoring, evaluation, learning, and quality assurance/continuous quality improvement activities/components of the project. This position will support collaboration, learning, and program adaptation. The Advisor will be responsible for ensuring effective bi-directional communication and learning between the project and service delivery implementing partners. S/he will support other project partners, as well as USAID service delivery implementing partners to develop, train, and apply new and proven approaches to M&E for Social and Behavior Change (SBC).
