The primary focus of the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Contractor is to work with the client to ensure that the products developed, and processes employed by a Project meet specified requirements, employ best practices, and adhere to industry and state standards. TVT’s IV&V teams facilitates early detection and correction of errors, enhance management insight into risks, provide findings and recommendations, and ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget requirements. By supporting the Project’s development lifecycle processes and performing periodic review of project artifacts, the IV&V Contractor validates that the Project is being managed and controlled according to the approved and baselined project plans. Essentially, the IV&V vendor The success of IV&V engagements for State of Florida projects is increased by the IV&V team’s ability to successfully manage the IV&V engagement. To that end, TVT incorporates into our own projects the same principles of project management that we expect to find on the projects for which we perform IV&V services. This includes coordinating the work of a multi-disciplinary team, and collaborating with the functional or business clients, prime contractor (and sub-contractors, if any), and Information Technology Services. Our collaboratively approach and proactive findings has resulted in the identifying and resolving of issues, risk and potential project blockers thus improving the success rate of the OEL project. Customers shall complete this Contractor Performance Survey for each Contractor on a quarterly basis. Customers will electronically submit the completed Contractor Performance Survey(s) to the Department’s Contract Manager no later than the due date indicated in Section F-1 of Attachment A--Statement of Work.
