Framework Lots Sample Clauses
The 'Framework Lots' clause establishes a structure within a framework agreement that divides the overall procurement into separate categories or 'lots,' each covering specific goods, services, or works. In practice, this means suppliers can bid for one or more lots depending on their capabilities, and contracts may be awarded for individual lots rather than the entire framework. This approach allows for greater flexibility and specialization, ensuring that suppliers with niche expertise can participate and that buyers can select the most suitable provider for each category, ultimately promoting competition and value for money.
