Common use of Formalities Free of Charge Clause in Contracts

Formalities Free of Charge. Registration of a transfer of Bonds and the issuance of new Bond Certificates will be effected without charge by the Registrar on behalf of the Issuer, but only upon payment or procuring of payment (or the giving or the procuring of giving of such indemnity as the Registrar or the Issuer may reasonably require) by the person making such application for transfer in respect of any tax or other governmental charges which may be imposed in relation to such transfer.
