FOREMEN AND GENERAL FOREMEN a. The selection of craft foremen and general foremen shall be the exclusive responsibility of the Contractor or subcontractor. Foremen and general foremen shall take directions from authorized Representatives of the Contractor or subcontractor.

An Employee designated by the Employer as Xxxxxxx shall be paid at the rate of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour above the highest base rate of the Employee over which they have supervision. On jobs running continuously more than five (5) days, journeyman sheet metal workers who are in charge of work covered by the jurisdictional claims of the International Association of SMART, and are xxxxxxx, directing or are placed in charge of three or more journeymen, classified worker or apprentices shall receive two dollars ($2.00) per hour more than the minimum hourly rate specified herein. When twelve (12) or more journeymen or apprentices are employed on a job, a general xxxxxxx shall be required. The general xxxxxxx shall receive four dollars ($4.00) per hour more than the journeyman rate of pay.

FOREMEN AND GENERAL FOREMEN. Section 1. When seven (7) or more employees are employed by any employer on one job, one of them shall be designated a xxxxxxx. The xxxxxxx shall be required to work unless otherwise assigned by the employer and shall not be required to supervise more than seventeen (17) employees. A general xxxxxxx’x duties shall be that of general supervision over all work coming within the Laborers’ jurisdiction. All orders to employees shall come from the xxxxxxx. All orders to foremen shall come from a general xxxxxxx except when no general xxxxxxx is required. In such cases, foremen shall take orders from the superintendent or the employer. All foremen and general foremen shall be members of Laborers’ Local 199.
FOREMEN AND GENERAL FOREMEN. 1. On any shift where more than one (1) Millwright is employed on the job, one shall be a Xxxxxxx. On any shift where eleven (11) or more Millwrights are employed on the job, at least two (2) of them shall be Foremen. For each additional ten (10) Millwrights, at least one (1) additional Xxxxxxx shall be added.

The Contractor shall be the sole judge of the need for, the number of, and the responsibilities of Foremen and General Foremen. The Union shall in no way interfere with the performance of a Xxxxxxx or General Xxxxxxx in carrying out his responsibilities as directed by the Employer. There will be no restrictions in crafts to be supervised by a Xxxxxxx or General Xxxxxxx. Transportation will be provided to Foremen and General Foremen at the option of the Employer. (B) No Xxxxxxx or workmen from other crews or shifts can be transferred to replace existing crews in completing a job or work assignment which continues or requires overtime work. Nothing in this section shall prevent the expansion or reduction of a work crew by the Contractor.
