Common use of Float Pay Clause in Contracts

Float Pay. Employees who are assigned to a float pool position as a regular assignment shall be paid a two dollars ($2.00) per hour premium for all hours worked in this position. Employees who receive Float Pay under this Article are Phlebotomists who are designated by management as a Float and whose primary job function is to work at variously assigned Patient Services Centers on an as needed basis (referred to in this paragraph as “Floats”).
