Common use of Flex Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Flex Scheduling. 6.8.1 The College retains the right to implement a flexible hours schedule, and if the College exercises that right, the terms and conditions of Section 6.4.1 of this Article are hereby specifically waived, to the extent that the employee’s regular weekly compensation is not affected. However, the College will give the Union reasonable notice of its decision to implement a flexible hours schedule and agrees to meet with the Union for the purpose of discussing the details and implementation of such a schedule. 6.8.2 In addition, employees may request a flexible hours schedule in their unit; however, the implementation of such flexible hours schedule remains within the sole discretion of the College.
