Flex Day Activity Procedure. (1) Each year faculty shall complete a Master Flex Day Contract (Appendix H, Forms B1 & B2). Additions may later be made directly on the contract or by use of a Flex Day Activity Form (Appendix H, Form A1). (2) Approval of flex day activities may be by a faculty member or by members of a department or division designated by the department or division. If the faculty wishes, they may delegate approval of flex day activities to the administrator of the division or other appropriate manager. (3) In the event that time constraints do not allow for the approval by normal authority as provided in Article 9.5.A(1)(f), Division Deans may grant approval. If approval is denied, faculty may appeal to the College President. In the event the proposal is still disapproved, faculty members may appeal to the normal authority when they return. Information regarding such approval will be shared with the normal approving authority at the earliest possible time. (4) The ▇▇▇▇ shall forward the completed, approved forms to the Executive Vice President of Student Learning by June 30 of each year.
