The 'Five Day Week' clause establishes that the standard workweek for employees consists of five working days. Five Day Week a. Eight (8) consecutive hours, exclusive of a meal period of not to exceed thirty (30) minutes shall constitute a standard work day.
b. Forty (40) hours, consisting of five (5) consecutive eight (8)-hour days, worked within seven (7) days, will constitute a standard work week.
Five Day Week.
A. Work days for the summer school will be Monday through Friday.
B. The paraprofessional's workday shall be four (4) hours*. The daily work schedule may vary to meet the needs of the program but not exceed four (4) hours without additional pay at the regular hourly rate or compensatory time.
C. Paraprofessionals shall receive one (1) fifteen minute duty-free break a day.

▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ using sick leave during the summer school session will have one (1) day for each day absent deducted from his/her accumulated sick leave.
F. Faculty meetings may be held during pre and post summer school. A maximum of five (5) additional faculty meetings may be held during the regular summer school session. All faculty meetings shall be held within the workday.
G. Until the applicant list of current employees has been exhausted, no paraprofessional who has not worked the previous school year shall be hired for summer school.
H. Eliminated duplication of pre-school and post-school hours.

2.1 Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no Employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten (10) consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the Employee’s Ordinary Hours on the next day or shift.
2.2 In the event that an Employee agrees to a request from Company site management to resume or continue to work without having had ten (10) consecutive hours off duty, the Employee shall be paid at double ordinary time rates until the Employee is released from duty for such period.
2.3 Where an Employee is released from duty in accordance with this clause the Employee will not suffer a loss of pay for ordinary working time occurring during such absence. Any such release from duty will not change the usual start and finish times for the working of ordinary hours.
