First Meal Period. The present practice of employees receiving a first meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes, and not more than sixty (60) minutes, shall be continued. Should an employee not receive their normal meal period as in the past, the employee shall add thirty (30) minutes to their tour of duty to be paid at the appropriate rate.
First Meal Period. Unless mutually acceptable arrangements are made among a majority of employees assigned to a particular project, the first meal period of one (1) hour shall commence not earlier than the beginning of the fourth (4th) hour and be completed by the end of the sixth (6th) hour, computed from the beginning of the work day.
First Meal Period. In all work assignments of five (5) hours or more, the first meal period, which shall have a duration of sixty (60) minutes, shall be scheduled as follows:
First Meal Period. For employees on a 12 hour shift pattern, a first meal of 34 minutes shall be assigned no earlier than the start of the 3rd hour of the shift, and no later than the end of the 7th hour. Employees on a 12 hour shift pattern shall be entitled to the meal displacement penalty.
First Meal Period. To all tours of duty a first meal period of sixty (60) minutes shall be scheduled beginning not earlier than the start of the third (3rd) hour of the tour and ending not later than the end of the fifth (5th) hour of such tour. By mutual agreement, the meal period may be less than one (1) hour, provided that overtime rates shall be paid for the period of time not taken, or the tour of duty may be reduced by the period of time not taken.
First Meal Period. (excluding ENG Camera, Integrated Playout) In the event that an employee has not been provided a meal period within the time limits required in Article 19.0, then the employee shall be given in addition to their regular hourly rate, a meal displacement penalty equal to one-half their basic hourly rate, commencing after five and one-half hours on shift and ending the earlier of the time at which they are given a meal period, or the time they are released. The meal displacement penalty shall also apply from the end of the meal period given and extend to the end of the first half hour in which the meal period should have been assigned. A meal period shall not be assigned within the first hour of the scheduled shift. First Meal Period –(ENG Camera, Integrated Playout) For all shifts of five hours or longer, a first meal period of 30 minutes (paid) shall be provided and shall be assigned not earlier than the start of the third hour of the shift. Eng Camera & Master Control employees are not eligible to claim any meal displacement penalties.
First Meal Period. News Bureau employees shall receive in all tours of duty a first meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes, nor more than sixty (60) minutes duration which shall be assigned or taken not earlier than the start of the third (3rd) hour and ending not later than the end of the sixth (6th) hour of such tour. When operationally feasible the meal will not be scheduled in the third hour of the tour. If such a meal period is not taken due to the exigencies of the assignment, then one-half (½) hour will be added to the end of the tour and be paid for at the appropriate rate.

Unless mutually acceptable arrangements are made among a majority of employees assigned to a particular project, or the employee is free to determine the scheduling of the meal period, the first meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than one (1) hour shall commence not earlier than the beginning of the fourth (4th) hour and be completed by the beginning of the seventh (7th) hour. Employees who are scheduled to work on a regular ten (10) to twelve (12) hour tour of duty will have a first meal period of one (1) hour which shall commence not earlier than the beginning of the fifth (5th) hour and be completed by the beginning of the eighth (8th) hour. Time under this article shall be computed from the beginning of the work day.
First Meal Period. Unless mutually acceptable arrangements are made among a majority of employees assigned to a particular project, or the employee is free to determine the scheduling of the meal period, the first meal period of not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than one (1) hour shall be assigned not earlier than the beginning of the fourth (4th) hour and be completed by the beginning of the seventh (7th) hour. The length of the scheduled shift, in accordance with Article 14.1, shall determine the length of the meal period. For example, a nine (9) hour shift shall contain a one (1) hour first meal period and a eight-and-a-half hour (8 ½) shift shall contain a ½ hour first meal period.
First Meal Period. Employees who work an 8 hour tour of duty shall have a meal period of not less than 30 minutes and not more than one (1) hour. Employees who are scheduled to work on a regular ten (10) to twelve (12) hour tour of duty will have a first meal period of one (1) hour.
