Common use of Final Paycheck Clause in Contracts

Final Paycheck. An employee who quits or resigns with five (5) days’ written notice to Human Resources will be provided their final paycheck within five (5) days of employment termination. An employee who quits without such written notice to Human Resources will receive their final paycheck within 20 days of employment termination. When the District discharges an employee, payment will be made within five (5) days. Payment may be made by mail, picked up by the employee, or by direct deposit depending on the circumstances. “Days” in the Article means business days.
