Common use of Fees to be Paid for Travel Days Clause in Contracts

Fees to be Paid for Travel Days. (a) No payment will be provided for travel time within the local commuting area of the court location in which the contract court interpreter is working. The local commuting distance to the courthouse will be set at the discretion of the court (see Section 7.5, Travel Expenses, and the Rate and Information Sheet). In the absence of a court-specific local commuting region, it will be construed as a 30 mile radius of the courthouse.
