Federal, State, and Local Law Notifications. Client certifies that before ordering a report from Xxxxx-Xxxxxxx and Associates, LLC, for Tenant/Owner Purposes, it shall provide any necessary notifications under applicable federal, state, and local law to the Consumer. Client understands that various states, including, but not limited to, California, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington require that specific information be communicated to the Consumer under certain circumstances. Client agrees that it will work with experienced legal counsel as appropriate to ensure that all applicable requirements are accounted for.

Federal, State, and Local Law Notifications. Client certifies that before ordering a Report from Sapphire Check for non-employment purposes, it shall also provide any necessary notifications under applicable federal, state, and local law to the Consumer. Client understands that various states, including, but not limited to, California, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington require that specific information be communicated to the Consumer under certain circumstances. Client agrees that it will work with experienced legal counsel as appropriate to ensure that all applicable requirements are accounted for. Written Consent. Client certifies that, consistent with the FCRA, before ordering a Report from Sapphire Check, the Consumer shall authorize in writing the procurement of such Report. Consent paperwork shall appropriately inform the Consumer of the reason for the Sapphire Check check and the nature of such check, in compliance with the FCRA.

  • FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS Respondent shall demonstrate on- site compliance with the Federal Tax Reform Act of 1986, Section 1706, amending Section 530 of the Revenue Act of 1978, dealing with issuance of Form W-2's to common law employees. Respondent is responsible for both federal and State unemployment insurance coverage and standard Workers’ Compensation insurance coverage. Respondent shall ensure compliance with all federal and State tax laws and withholding requirements. The City of Xxxxxx shall not be liable to Respondent or its employees for any Unemployment or Workers' Compensation coverage, or federal or State withholding requirements. Contractor shall indemnify the City of Xxxxxx and shall pay all costs, penalties, or losses resulting from Respondent's omission or breach of this Section.

  • Compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws a. The Grantee and all its agents shall comply with all federal, state and local regulations, including, but not limited to, nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers’ compensation, licenses, and registration requirements. Any changes to the description, type of service(s), or SKU (e.g., PaaS to IaaS) must be provided to OGS via Appendix C - Contract Modification Procedure. In addition, notification must be provided to the Authorized User for review and acceptance, prior to implementation. Any changes to the Authorized User Agreement will require the Authorized User to re-assess the risk mitigation methodologies and strategies and revise the Authorized User Agreement as needed.

  • Federal, State and Local Taxes Unless otherwise specified, the proposal price shall include all applicable federal, state and local taxes. Contractor shall pay all taxes lawfully imposed on it with respect to any product or service delivered in accordance with this Agreement. City is exempt from state sales or use taxes and federal excise taxes for direct purchases. These taxes shall not be included in the Agreement. Upon request, City shall provide to the Contractor a certificate of tax exemption. City makes no representation as to the exemption from liability of any tax imposed by any governmental entity on the Contractor.

  • NOTIFICATION TO STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES Copies of this document will be provided to other state and federal agencies as a means of notifying them of this approval.

  • Contract Use by State Agencies To the extent applicable, the Contract does not prohibit state agencies from using their delegated purchasing authority to procure similar goods and services from other sources.
