Common use of Extraordinary Work Clause in Contracts

Extraordinary Work. Authority will not pay Contractor for extraordinary work unless Contractor receives prior written authorization from the Contract Administrator. Failure to do so will result in payment being withheld for services. If approved, Contractor will include an invoice that describes the work performed and the location where the work was performed, and a copy of the Contract Administrator’s written authorization.
