Extension of Time Period for Submission of Bids. SNDB may extend the deadline for submission of bids only, if one or all of the following conditions exist; - Fewer than three bids have been submitted and SNDB is unanimous in its view that wider competition can be ensured by extending the deadline. In such case, the bids submitted shall be returned to the Bidders un-opened; [SPPRA Rule 22 (1)] - If the SNDB is convinced that such extraordinary circumstances have arisen owing to law and order situation or a natural calamity that the deadline should be extended.
