Common use of Extension of Protection Clause in Contracts

Extension of Protection. To the extent that the relevant legislation of each Contracting Party so allows, the benefit of the protection given by this Agreement shall be extended to natural and legal persons, bodies corporate and to federations, associations and organi- sations of producers, traders or consumers whose headquarters are in the other Contracting Party.
